HAYWARD, CA (February 23, 2023) – Police confirmed that a 50-year-old man died in a car accident on Winton Avenue on February 19.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Clawiter Road around 7:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving his vehicle near the intersection prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he collided with another car.
 
The older man was unconscious when officers arrived. As a result, medics said the victim died due to grave injuries. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
Police said the 22-year-old driver of the other car was impaired.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
