Hit-and-Run Wanted in Fatal Mesa Pedestrian Accident on Main Street

 
MESA, AZ (February 23, 2023) – The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run accident on February 14.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Crismon Road just before 9:30 PM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle came by and struck the victim.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not release the name of the deceased, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, investigators are looking for a 2006-2008 white or light colored 4-door Chevrolet Malibu. The sedan should have front-end damage, including the grille assembly.
