Peter Escalante Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 9, 2023) – The Los Angeles Police Department identified 50-year-old Peter Escalante who died in a hit-and-run accident on Oxnard Street on February 3.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Woodman Avenue around 10:15 PM.
 
Based on a report, Escalante was on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a dark-colored vehicle struck him and left the scene.
 
As a result, first responders with the Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced Escalante dead at the scene.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, officials set up a reward of up to $50,000 for the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the suspect.
