Caleb Rickenbacher Identified in Fatal Cypress Crash, Christina Diaz Injured

 
CYPRESS, TX (November 28, 2022) – Police identified 20-year-old Caleb Rickenbacher as the victim who died in a hit-and-run crash on Cypress Rosehill Road on November 19.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Huffmeister Road around 4:00 AM. Based on a report, Rickenbacher was driving a vehicle with his girlfriend, Christina Diaz, in the passenger’s seat.
 
Due to unknown reasons, another vehicle hit their car and drove away.
 
As a result, the Harris County Precinct Four Constable’s Office confirmed that Rickenbacher died in the incident.
 
Diaz had a ruptured intestine and bruising on some organs.
 
Police said the other vehicle involved was stolen. As of now, an investigation into the hit-and-run crash is ongoing.
