Vincente Nandin Identified in Fatal San Angelo Crash, Hercilio Rodriguez Injured

 
SAN ANGELO, TX (November 28, 2022) – Police identified 39-year-old Vincente Francisco Nandin as the victim who died in a head-on crash on Highway 87 on November 19.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near mile post 482. Based on a report, Nandin was driving a car the wrong way prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, it hit a semi-truck head-on.
 
As a result, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and Wall Volunteer Fire Department said Nandin died at the scene.
 
The truck driver, 44-year-old Hercilio Vasquez Rodriguez of Killen, was taken to Shannon Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation is ongoing.
