Maricela Moreno Killed, Jose Ivan Martinez Arrested in Pedestrian Accident on East Park Row Drive [Arlington, TX]

Maricela Moreno Identified in Fatal Arlington Hit-and-Run, Jose Ivan Martinez Arrested

 
ARLINGTON, TX (November 28, 2022) – Police identified 67-year-old Maricela Moreno as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on East Park Row Drive on November 20.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Susan Drive around 10:15 PM. Based on a report, Moreno was with another pedestrian in the crosswalk prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, an SUV was traveling westbound Park Row ran a red light and struck them. Then, the vehicle continued without rendering aid to the victim.
 
As a result, Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office pronounced Moreno dead at the hospital.
 
The other pedestrian, a 49-year-old woman, suffered injuries.
 
Police found a license plate at the scene. Later on, they arrested its driver, Jose Ivan Martinez, at his home.
