LAS VEGAS, NV (November 28, 2022) – A 49-year-old man suffered serious injuries following a bicycle accident on Blue Diamond Road on November 16.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Arville Street around 11:23 PM. Based on a report, the victim was riding a bicycle at the time of the crash.
 
Las Vegas Metro police said he illegally crossed in front of oncoming traffic near the intersection. At that point, a 2004 Toyota Sienna traveling west on Blue Diamond struck him.
 
As a result, he was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
The driver of the Sienna remained at the scene and didn’t show any signs of impairment.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
