Johnny Jones Airlifted to Hospital after Sustaining Injuries in Leander Accident

 
LEANDER, TX (October 18, 2022)Johnny Jones was hospitalized after her vehicle reversed and hit her on Farm-to-Market Road 252 on October 5.

According to reports of the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at about 1:40 p.m. along Farm-to-Market 252, at a private residence south of County Road 509.

A 2019 Nissan stopped in a private drive, police said. 70-year-old Jones, a Kirbyville resident, got out of the vehicle to check the mail when it started moving backwards and struck her.

Responders sent Jones to St. Elizabeth Hospital with injuries via air ambulance.

Authorities did not release further details about the crash. The investigation will continue. Updates will be released once available.
