Vehicle and Semi-Truck Involved in Fatal Accident on Highway 75 in Allen

 
HOWARD COUNTY, TX (October 4, 2022) – A man died in a fatal accident involving a semi-truck in the 700 block of southbound Highway 75 on September 14.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near West Bethany Drive shortly before 11:35 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving the semi southbound on the highway when it collided with another vehicle. Subsequently, the semi drove over the right safety barrier, slid to a stop and came to rest suspended from the overpass.
 
The Allen Police responded to the scene and found truck’s male driver outside the trailer. As a result, the victim died from his injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities did not yet release the deceased’s identity pending kin notification.
 
As of now, an investigation into the crash is ongoing. In addition, police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call the department at 214-509-4200.
