Edwin Giron Arrested, Teen Hurt in Cleburne Hit-and-Run
CLEBURNE, TX (March 6, 2025) — Officials arrested 22-year-old Edwin Eliceo Villalvir Giron, of Dallas, after a hit-and-run on February 25.
According to the Cleburne Police Department, the incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Woodard Avenue and North Ridgeway Drive.
Officers responded to the area after receiving reports that a red vehicle hit a pedestrian.
Upon arrival, authorities located a 16-year-old girl from Cleburne, who sustained serious injuries. They transported her to a nearby hospital, and she was then listed in stable condition. Due to her age, they have not released her identity.
Following an investigation, officers discovered the suspected vehicle. It was parked at a motel in the 100 block of North Ridgeway Drive, less than half a mile from the scene. They later identified the driver as Giron. After interviewing Giron, officers took him into custody.
Giron faces a third-degree felony charge of collision involving personal injury. He remains in custody pending arraignment.
