ARDEN-ARCADE, CA (February 27, 2025) — Two women sustained injuries following a hit-and-run on Alta Arden Expressway on Friday afternoon, February 21.

The incident occurred near Wright Street at around 2:00 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officials stated that a pickup truck being driven by a man, described to be in his 30s, had headed west on Alta Arden Expressway.

For reasons still undetermined, the driver of the pickup truck did not come to a halt at a stop sign.

The pickup truck then slammed into another car, occupied by two women.

The accident left the two women with major injuries, prompting respondents to conduct a medical transport to a hospital.

Meanwhile, the male motorist bailed out of the pickup truck, which came to a rest on its roof when it rammed through an apartment complex.
