Man, Woman Die After Madera County Head-On Crash on Highway 41

 
MADERA COUNTY, CA (February 26, 2025) – A man and a woman died following a head-on crash on Highway 41 early Friday morning, February 21.

The fatal incident occurred north of Avenue 11 at around 3:00 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities stated that a white 2020 Honda Accord being driven by 30-year-old Garden Grove man, who had a 22-year-old female passenger, had headed north on 41.

For reasons still undetermined, the Honda went across the double yellow lines, entering the southbound lanes. It then slammed into a 2005 Toyota Camry, operated by a 28-year-old man.

The force of impact partially ejected the female passenger of the Honda, who died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the male motorist of the Honda succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.

The driver of the Toyota survived but suffered major injuries.

Officials are still working on determining the cause and circumstances behind the crash.

As the investigation remains in progress, no further information is released at this time.
