Jalen Bryce Herndon Died, Victor Miranda-Baltazar Arrested After San Antonio Pedestrian Crash

 
SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 25, 2025) – Jalen Bryce Herndon died while Victor Miranda-Baltazar was arrested in a pedestrian crash on Interstate 35 on Wednesday, February 12.
 
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the fatal incident happened just before 4:00 a.m. near Laredo Street.
 
Initial investigation reported that a pedestrian was running northeast across the main lanes of Interstate 35 when he was struck and run over by a red 2018 Freightliner.
 
The pedestrian, 25-year-old Herndon, died at the scene.
 
The driver of the truck, 64-year-old Miranda-Baltazar fled the scene but was later arrested for a collision involving death.
 
Investigation into the incident remains open and active.
