Fatal Spokane Valley Car Accident on East Trent Avenue and North Park Road

 
SPOKANE VALLEY, WA (December 5, 2024) — A 64-year-old man died in a car accident on East Trent Avenue on Tuesday, November 19.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the fatal crash occurred at East Trent Avenue and North Park Road at around 9:30 a.m.
 
WSP said a vehicle traveled south on North Park Road at East Trent Avenue. Then it entered the intersection, and another vehicle headed west on Trent at Park struck it.
 
Reports from WSP said the 64-year-old man who was behind the wheel of the first vehicle died at the scene. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old driver of the second vehicle was not hurt.
 
Authorities advised motorists to look for alternative routes in the area as they investigated the scene.
 
Responding officers blocked westbound lanes in the area. In addition, they split the eastbound lanes so traffic could pass in both directions Tuesday morning. It has since reopened.
