Michael Bone, Waylon Bone, Corey Boman, and Merri Kerry Killed in Henderson County Car Accident

 
HENDERSON COUNTY, TX (November 5, 2024) — 29-year-old Michael Bone and three others died in a wrong-way accident on Sunday, October 6.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred just after noon on FM 1616.
 
DPS said a 1993 Ford Ranger moved east on FM 1616. Then drifted into the westbound lanes and crashed into a 2015 Nissan Armada.
 
Three people inside the Ranger died in the accident. Authorities identified them as 29-year-old Michael Bone and his two sons, 8-year-old Waylon Bone and 11-year-old Corey Boman.
 
Their family set up to a GoFundMe to help them with the funeral expenses.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Nissan also died. Officials identified her as 57-year-old Merri Kerry. She wore her seatbelt, according to Texas DPS.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
