Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Highway 36 in Broomfield

 
BROOMFIELD, CO (November 5, 2024) — A rider died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 36 on Wednesday, October 16.
 
According to the Broomfield Police Department, the motorcycle crash occurred on Highway 36 near Wadsworth Parkway just before 4:00 p.m.
 
Broomfield Police said the motorcycle rider crashed with another vehicle on eastbound Highway 36.
 
The rider died from sustained fatal injuries in the collision. The Adams and Broomfield County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the motorcyclist after family notification.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the driver of the second vehicle to the hospital for further evaluation.
 
The accident led to the closure of the eastbound highway at Wadsworth Parkway for more than two hours.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
