Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Emden Drive and Sunset View Avenue

 
HENDERSON, NV (October 17, 2024) — One person died in a motorcycle accident on Emden Drive on Wednesday, October 2.
 
According to the Henderson Police Department, the accident happened at about 6:43 p.m. at Emden Drive and Sunset View Avenue, near Major Avenue.
 
Investigators determined that the rider drove a 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Mariposa Way. Then, for reasons still not yet determined, the rider went off the road.
 
Police said the rider was thrown off the bike. First responders arrived and then pronounced the rider dead at the scene. The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the rider’s identity after they notify his next of kin.
 
Police believe speed and impairment may have been a factor in the incident. However, they have not released further information about the crash.
 
The accident is the 16th traffic-related death on Henderson city streets this 2024.
