MUSTANG RIDGE, TX (September 16, 2024) — Two people died following a three-vehicle accident on Camino Real on Friday, September 6.
 
According to the Mustang Ridge Police Department, the crash happened at about 7:43 p.m. in the 19300 block of Camino Real in Mustang Ridge, southeast of Austin.
 
Officers responded to the scene within minutes. They administered medical aid to the injured. However, two victims still succumbed to their injuries and died on the scene.
 
Authorities have not yet released the identities of the deceased, pending notification of loved ones.
 
The events that led to the accident as well as what caused the collision are not immediately available. There are also no reports of whether impairment or speed was a contributing factor.
