Willie Gunn, Amber Hopewell, Amiyah Fisher, and Two Other Kids Dead in Forth Worth DUI Crash

 
FORTH WORTH, TX (September 3, 2024)Willie Gunn, his girlfriend Amber Hopewell, and her three children died in a crash on Monday, August 19.
 
According to the Fort Worth police, the accident took place on the 35W Freeway near the East Seminary Drive exit at around midnight.
 
Fort Worth police said a Chevrolet Camaro traveled northbound on the 35W Freeway. Then it rear-ended a sedan near the East Seminary Drive exit. The collision caused the sedan to catch fire.
 
All occupants in the sedan died in the accident. Two of the victims were adults, and three were children. Family members identified them as Willie Gunn, his girlfriend Amber Hopewell, and Hopewell’s children.
 
The father of the youngest child, Eddie Fisher, set up a GoFundMe to help with the funeral expenses for 2-year-old Amiyah Lashae Rose Fisher. The names of the two other children were not available. However, reports said their ages were 4 and 9.
 
Meanwhile, officials said the driver of the Camaro is 19-year-old Eduardo Gonzalez, of Fort Worth.
 
Officers first brought Gonzales to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Then they arrested him on suspicion of five counts of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle.
