WESTMINSTER, CO (August 15, 2024) – The Westminster Police Department confirmed that a man died in an accident on 120th Avenue on July 23.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened between Lowell Boulevard and Federal Boulevard around 1:20 AM. Based on a report, speed and alcohol may have been contributing factors to the crash.
 
Police did not yet release any details but they confirmed that a man perished in the accident.
 
Emergency crews transported a woman to the hospital with unknown injuries.
 
Authorities also closed the eastbound lanes of 120th Avenue through the morning rush hour. Police suggested using 112th Avenue as an alternate route.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
