MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ (August 15, 2024) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a car accident on 10 Freeway between Buckeye and Goodyear on July 26.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at milepost 123 near Perryville shortly before 3:50 AM. Based on a report, only one vehicle was involved in the crash.
 
Subsequently, emergency responders said one person died at the scene. They did not release the identity of the deceased, pending kin notification.
 
Crews did not report any other injuries. They also closed the westbound off-ramp at milepost 123 while a clearing operation took place in the area.
