LAS VEGAS, NV (May 29, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a woman was in critical condition following a pedestrian accident on South Casino Center Boulevard on May 17.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Hoover Avenue around 10:36 AM. Based on a report, the victim was crossing South Casino Boulevard outside a marked crosswalk.
 
At the same time, a 2020 RTC Transdev bus was going northbound in the dedicated bus lane approaching Hoover Avenue.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the woman entered the bus lane, causing a collision. The impact then threw her into the roadway.
 
As a result, the woman suffered critical injuries in the incident.
