Fatal Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident on Owens Avenue and Main Street

 
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (May 29, 2024) — A man in a wheelchair died in a pedestrian accident on Owens Avenue on Friday, May 17.
 
According to the North Las Vegas Police, the pedestrian accident happened at about 11:15 a.m. in the area of Owens Avenue and Main Street.
 
North Las Vegas Police officers responded to the area. Then they found a man in a wheelchair described to be in his 50s struck by a Ford F350 truck.
 
Emergency responders brought the man to UMC Trauma Center where medical personnel pronounced him dead.
 
The identification of the victim, along with the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
 
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene. NLVPD does not consider speed and impairment as factors in the crash.
