One Injured in Hit-and-Run on Union Boulevard in Colorado Springs

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (April 29, 2024) – Police are now looking for a hit-and-run driver following an accident on Union Boulevard on April 11.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Ranch Lane around 6:00 AM. Based on a report, the suspect was driving a white van near the intersection before the incident.
 
As the driver was trying to turn from northbound on Union Boulevard left onto Ranch Lane, a black Jeep crashed into it. A third car nearby was also involved in the collision.
 
As a result, one person was hurt and transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
 
Police say the driver in the van ditched their vehicle and ran from the scene.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
