Man Fatally Injured in Tucson Pedestrian Accident on East Prince Road

 
TUCSON, AZ (February 13, 2024) — A man trying to cross the street died in a pedestrian accident on East Prince Road on Tuesday, February 6.
 
According to the Tucson Police Department, the incident took place on East Prince Road, just east of North Stone Avenue, shortly after midnight.
 
TPD said the man tried to cross East Prince Road. Then a Dodge Charger moving westbound struck him.
 
Emergency responders transported the man to a local hospital where he died from sustained injuries.
 
According to TPD, the pedestrian was not on a crosswalk.
 
The driver of the Charger remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. TPD determined impairment was not a factor in the crash.
 
The investigation is still underway.
