Jose Herrera-Hernandez Fatally injured after Dallas Hit-and-Run Accident

 
DALLAS, TX (December 4, 2023) — Officials identified 31-year-old Jose Antonio Herrera-Hernandez as the man dead in a hit-and-run on Friday, November 24.
 
According to the Dallas Police Department, the crash occurred on Samuell Boulevard, east of Valley Glen Drive, at around 4:30 a.m.
 
Reports said Herrera-Hernandez walked eastbound in the 3800 block of Samuell Boulevard. Then he was struck by a vehicle and he died at the scene.
 
Police said the driver didn’t stop to help Herrera-Hernandez and fled the area.
 
At this time, there’s no description of the suspect or vehicle. Dallas police ask the public for help in identifying the driver and vehicle.
