Paul Lopez Killed after Phoenix Car Accident on 83rd Avenue and McDowell Road

 
PHOENIX, AZ (December 4, 2023) — A man identified as 51-year-old Paul Lopez died in a car crash on Saturday, November 4.
 
According to Phoenix police, the accident took place near 83rd Avenue and McDowell Road shortly before 8:30 a.m.
 
When officers arrived, they discovered a vehicle collided into a tree. They found the driver of the vehicle, Lopez, who died from sustained injuries at the scene.
 
Paramedics rushed the infant to the hospital as a precaution. Officials said the infant was in a car seat during the accident.
 
Officials said Lopez drove southbound on 83rd Avenue. Then, for undetermined reasons, went into the median and hit a tree.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the crash. Lopez’s relationship with the infant is also included in the investigation.
