Sara Martinez Identified in Fatal Car Accident in Mesquite

 
MESQUITE, TX (November 9, 2023) – The Mesquite Police Department identified 38-year-old Sara Martinez of Dallas who died in a rollover accident on Highway 80 on October 28.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 2:00 AM. Based on a report, Martinez was driving a Mazda 3 on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, her vehicle left the roadway and collided with the concrete barrier on the median. Subsequently, the collision caused her vehicle to roll over, ejecting her from the vehicle.
 
As a result, Martinez suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Police noted that heavy rain was happening at the time and that roads were extremely wet.
