Motorcyclist Alicia Perrin Identified in Fatal Crash on Highway 16 in Gig Harbor

 
GIG HARBOR, WA (October 20, 2023) – Officers identified 30-year-old Alicia Perrin of Shelton who died in a crash on Highway 16 on October 14.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Rosedale Street NW at approximately 1:00 AM. Based on a report, Perrin collided with a vehicle in the lanes. Officials did not release the details that led to the crash.
 
Consequently, authorities found Perrin dead at the scene. She was wearing a helmet.
 
Emergency crews transported the driver of the vehicle, 54-year-old Mecca Berkins of Federal Way, to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
 
Officers said they believe Berkins was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the crash.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
