15-Year-Old Madeline Cross, 16-Year-Old Rylan Poggi Killed in Accident on 64th Street [Phoenix, AZ]

Rylan Poggi and Madeline Cross Identified in Fatal UTV Crash in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (October 20, 2023) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 15-year-old Madeline Taylor Cross and 16-year-old Rylan Lee Poggi who died in a crash on 64th Street on October 12.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Pinnacle Peak Road shortly after 2:00 PM. Based on a report, police responded to the crash and found the victims’ UTV upside down.
 
Police said the vehicle burst into flames after it crashed.
 
As a result, crews said that both teens sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
It was not clear what caused the UTV to roll over.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
