Devin Delvalle Arrested in Fatal Bicycle Accident in Katy

 
KATY, TX (October 3, 2023) – The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Devin Delvalle following a fatal bicycle accident on Mason Road on September 28.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened near Cinco Park. Based on a report, a 14-year-old boy was riding his bike to school at a crosswalk on Mason Road at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Delvalle hit him.
 
As a result, the bicyclist suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. The teen victim lived in the neighborhood and was heading to Cinco Ranch High School. Officials did not yet release his name.
 
Officers arrested Delvalle under the new Texas law that cracks down on drivers involved in crashes leading to the injury or death of a person at a crosswalk.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
