Father and Son, Elijah Bishop and Ethan Bishop, Identified in Fatal Huntsville Plane Crash

 
HUNTSVILLE, TX (September 12, 2023) – The Federal Aviation Administration identified 20-year-old Ethan Cole Bishop and 43-year-old Elijah Nelson Bishop who died in a plane crash at 1000 Airport Drive on September 6.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at the Huntsville Municipal Airport. Based on a report, the victims were onboard a single-engine Cessna 150 that took off from Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport at 10:28 AM.
 
Ethan Bishop was practicing landings and takeoffs while Elijah Bishop was the co-pilot. Subsequently, FlightAware data for the plane stopped at 11:47 AM. Huntsville Police Department and EMS responded and saw the plane wreckage near the runway of the municipal airport.
 
As a result, Ethan Bishop and Elijah Bishop both sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
