Motorcyclist Edgar Carabes Dies in Las Vegas Accident with Bicycle on Desert Inn Road

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 6, 2023) – The Clark County Coroner identified 26-year-old Edgar Gonzalez Carabes who died in a motorcycle accident on East Desert Inn Road on May 29.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened just east of Mojave Road around 10:40 PM. Based on a report, Carabes was driving his motorcycle, heading west on Desert Inn at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a bicyclist was crossing the road. Due to unknown reasons, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said Carabes hit the bicycle.
 
As a result, Carabes suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to Sunrise Hospital, where he later died.
 
Crews also took the bicyclist, a 45-year-old Las Vegas man, to Sunrise with critical injuries.
 
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case. In addition, no other details are available.
