Kellee Vanhook Dies in Deer Park Car Crash Involving DUI Driver Robert Plumage

 
DEER PARK, WA (May 25, 2023) – Officers identified 27-year-old Kellee R. Vanhook of Chewelah who died in a head-on car crash on Highway 395 on May 21.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 6:15 PM. Based on a report, Vanhook was traveling northbound on the highway prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, her sedan crossed the center line and collided with the vehicle of 21-year-old Robert J. Plumage head-on.
 
As a result, Vanhook suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. She was wearing her seat belt at that time.
 
Troopers arrested Plumage on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
