It was stopped in the inside lane and prepared to turn west into a private drive. Then the Jeep Wrangler struck it from behind. The driver of the Jeep, identified as 19-year-old Shelby Carroll, of Huffman, Texas, died at the scene. Her passenger, 22-year-old Lorin Parks, of Paducah, Texas, also sustained fatal injuries in the crash and died. Meanwhile, Terrazas did not sustain any injuries in the collision. Officers said all occupants wore seatbelts at the time of the crash. Texas DPS continues to investigate the accident.
