The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a fatal crash that occurred on Monday, east of Lorenzo. Investigation showed that Brunt Brunt parked his vehicle on the shoulder of the road when an eastbound vehicle slammed into it. According to reports, 71-year-old Brunt of Fairfield succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. DPS reported three more injuries.
