Fatal Rear-End Crash on Magnolia Boulevard Two Killed in North Hollywood Car Crash NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (February 28, 2023) - The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that two people died in a crash in the 11400 block of Magnolia Boulevard on February 26. A preliminary investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department revealed that a female driver in a gray sedan traveling northbound on the 170 Freeway exited at Magnolia Boulevard and ran a red light, striking a dark colored Honda CRV carrying three people, including a 10-month-old infant. Crews with the Los Angeles Fire Department worked to free a 35-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man from the wreckage of the CRV, authorities said. Det. Fuentes confirmed that the male passenger in the CRV died, though it is unclear if he was declared deceased at the scene or died from his injuries at the hospital. Paramedics transported the female in the CRV to the hospital and was reported to be in critical condition. However, some reports have stated that the woman has died. Officials transported the infant to the hospital. At this time, the baby is in stable condition and is expected to survive.
