Lane Wireman and Seth Brown Killed in Car Crash on Highway 79 at FM 39 Seth Brown, Lane Wireman Identified in Fatal Crash on Highway 79 in Jewett JEWETT, TX (December 4, 2023) - Officials identified 24-year-old Lane Wireman and 25-year-old Seth Brown, both from Kentucky, who died in a crash on Highway 79 on November 27. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at FM 39 at approximately 6:06 AM. Based on a report, the victims were passengers in a van that was traveling near the intersection before the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the van failed to yield at a stop intersection while turning left onto northbound Highway 79. It then hit a Peterbilt that was traveling southbound.
