LAS VEGAS, NV (January 18, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a woman suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run on Washington Avenue on January 9.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Yale Street shortly after 8:00 PM. Based on a report, the woman was near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a white truck traveling southbound on Yale Street hit her. The truck then continued southbound and did not help the victim.
 
As a result, the woman sustained life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews transported her to the hospital for treatment.
