Motorist Dead in Two-Vehicle Crash on West Colfax Avenue and Newton Street

 
DENVER, CO (August 28, 2023) — A woman suffered fatal injuries in a car crash on West Colfax Avenue in Denver on Friday, August 4.
 
According to the Denver Police Department, the accident took place in the area of West Colfax Avenue and Newton Street at around 11:10 p.m.
 
Officers then responded to the scene. Then paramedics transported one motorist, a woman, to a hospital.
 
At 1:01 p.m. on Saturday, police announced on Twitter that the woman succumbed to her injuries and medical personnel pronounced her dead.
 
There are no reports of other injuries in the accident.
