Woman Fatal Victim in Rollover Crash on Griggs Avenue and Hermosa Street

 
EL PASO, TX (February 21, 2025) – A woman died following a rollover crash on Griggs Avenue and Hermosa Street on Thursday afternoon, February 13.
 
According to the Las Cruces Police Department, the incident happened before 3:30 p.m.
 
Reports indicated that a vehicle was heading west on Griggs Avenue when it ran a stop sign and broadsided an SUV that was heading south on Hermosa Street.
 
The impact of the crash caused the SUV to rotate before rolling over at least once, police said.
 
A 24-year-old female occupant of the SUV was ejected out of the vehicle and died at the scene.
 
The 22-year-old female driver of the SUV was not harmed.
