PHOENIX, AZ (December 10, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department confirmed that a woman died in a pedestrian accident on Cave Creek Road on November 30.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Cactus Road around 5:45 PM. Based on a report, the woman was crossing Cave Creek Road outside a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle traveling south on the road hit her.
 
As a result, the victim suffered serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported her to the hospital, where she later died. Authorities did not release her identity, pending notification of next of kin.
 
The man driving the car stayed in the area and did not show any signs of impairment.
