Motorcyclist Involved in Fatal Seattle Accident on Aurora Avenue North
SEATTLE, WA (July 18, 2024) – The Seattle Police Department confirmed that a 27-year-old woman died in a motorcycle accident on Aurora Avenue North on July 1.
The Washington State Patrol said the collision happened at North 43rd Street shortly after 10:00 PM. Based on a report, the woman and another driver in an SUV were heading south on Aurora Avenue before the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, the 43-year-old man driving an SUV was switching lanes and collided with the motorcycle.
As a result, the woman suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
Police said the vehicle driver remained at the scene and there were no signs of impairment on his part.
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
