Woman Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on East Mississippi Avenue in Aurora

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (November 21, 2024) – Aurora police and the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a woman died in a hit-and-run on East Mississippi Avenue on November 4.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened at South Elkhart Street. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the woman and fled the scene.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Police only described her as an Asian female between 20 and 30 years of age, approximately 5 foot and 4 inches, and weighing 137 pounds with a black buzz-cut hairstyle.
 
Police ask help in identifying the woman who has numerous tattoos like a black outline of the Japanese “Yen” symbol under her left eye and many more.
 
Officers ask anyone with information about her death or identity to contact the Arapahoe County Coroner’s pager number at 303-461-9387.
