LITTLETON, CO (February 10, 2025) – The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed that a woman died in a crash on South Simms Street on February 1.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened at West Belleview Avenue around 6:00 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a vehicle north on South Simms Street before the crash.
 
She weaved across southbound lanes, went onto the sidewalk and hit a fence. Subsequently, she continued through the backyard of the home and hit a tree.
 
As a result, she suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Authorities only identified her as a 60-year-old Littleton woman.
 
The CSP is asking witnesses to call CSP dispatch at 303-239-4501. Callers should leave their name and contact information and an investigator will contact them.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
