William Gonzales Dead in Tucson Pedestrian Accident

 
TUCSON, AZ (February 28, 2025) — A 59-year-old man, William Glenn Gonzales, died in a pedestrian accident on Wednesday, February 26.
 
Tucson Police reported that Gonzales tried to cross the 3500 block of South Kino Parkway on Wednesday morning. Then a Dodge Charger struck him.
 
After that, at least one other vehicle struck him. Officials confirmed that he was not in a crosswalk at the time of the crash.
 
The driver of the Dodge Charger, an 18-year-old man, initially left the scene. Yet, later returned and cooperated with investigators. Authorities stated that impairment was not a factor.
 
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
