Vicki Polzin Critically Injured after Crashing into Five Vehicles in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 17, 2023) – Las Vegas Metro Police identified 73-year-old Vicki Polzin of Las Vegas as the victim seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash on South Decatur Boulevard on April 7.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened just north of Dover Place around 4:30 PM. Based on a report, Polzin was in a 1991 Chevrolet 1500 heading north on South Decatur prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, she failed to stop and collided with five stopped vehicles.
 
As a result, Polzin was critically injured in the incident. Crews transported her to University Medical Center for treatment.
 
Two of the drivers in the other vehicles had minor injuries and did not need hospitalization.
