Virginia Gonzales Killed in Riverside County Pedestrian Accident

 
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA (December 5, 2022) – A woman died after being struck by a car on Corydon Road and Plessner Way around 6:40 p.m. on Thursday, December 1.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office-Coroner’s Bureau identified the pedestrian as 49-year-old Virginia Gonzales of Wildomar.

Due to the impact, Gonzales succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene.

The involved driver who hit her stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. At this time, alcohol and drugs were ruled out at this time, police say.

Corydon Road was not available for several hours as authorities worked on the investigation.
