Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Loop 820 in Fort Worth

 
FORT WORTH, TX (October 11, 2022) – Police confirmed that two people died in a pedestrian accident on Loop 820 on October 8.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Marine Creek Parkway around 3:45 AM.
 
Based on a report, the two pedestrians were on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle hit them.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Crews sent the second pedestrian to a hospital by MedStar but the victim later died. Officials did not yet release their names, pending next of kin notification.
 
Police said the driver who struck the pedestrians fled on foot from the crash scene.
 
As of now, the crash remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
