Semi-Truck Tire Blowout Accident on 10 Freeway in Buckeye

 
BUCKEYE, AZ (June 12, 2024) – Officials confirmed that two people suffered injuries in a semi-truck accident on 10 Freeway on May 31.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Watson Road shortly after 9:00 AM. Based on a report, the tractor-trailer blew a tire and its driver lost control.
 
Subsequently, DPS said the truck’s two trailers overturned and spilled cargo on the freeway.
 
As a result, the driver suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the incident. A passenger in the truck was also hurt.
 
Crews closed the westbound lanes of the freeway as rescue crews worked at the scene.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
